Hot Dip Galvanizing: Best Practice Steel Supply

Thursday 20th May, 2021

Past Event Overview

The hot dip galvanizing market in Australia is an important market for Trading Companies, Steel Distributors and Steel Fabricators alike.

Australian galvanizers successfully coat large quantities of fabricated articles made from imported and local steel daily, with the capacity for hot dip galvanizing of structural steel in Australia around 1,000,000 tonnes.

This past session briefly explained the hot dip galvanizing market in Australia and the requirements and processes involved with coating. We covered the key success points for good galvanizing quality, particularly focusing on what steel suppliers need to do to keep their customers happy. Participants learned about how the range and quality of product supplied to fabricators is critical to the successful and cost-effective application of a hot dip galvanized coating.
